Acerbis Lights

On the HAI site, they say they recommend connecting all the lights to low beam, why is that?

Re: Acerbis Lights

So that when you get to the spot, you click into highbeam, lights go off, and your not blinding anyone.

Re: Acerbis Lights

ya that way your highbeam is off. That way at the spot people won't see your lights from the road. I had it like that on my old bike and it was sweet. I had all three lights on low and my high beam was off.

It helps you keep a lower profile at spots where anyone can see your lights. But you can't get a bike inspected like that. They told my I need a low beam and a high beam

um on f4i's im pretty sure the low beam light stays on when high is on

chris its easier to wire that way.
i leave one light wired to a seperate switch, if they are all wired to one power source when a fuse blows no more lights... that would suck at night

Than couldn't you wire them to your high beam so low beam is off? Would that work?

Yes, thats how mine is wired. I like being able to flip it to low beams, and not having any lights on.
