my firsts attempt at a spreader

so last night I was out practicing for a few hours and I decided to try a spreader... all I got was a tank dangler

i think im gonna hold off on them for a while... or at least I want to practice bringing my wheelies down slower and more smoothly because after I came down on one of them I almost flipped over the handlebars

Re: my firsts attempt at a spreader

not bad. Yeah make sure you gas some when coming down. Makes for a softer landing.

Re: my firsts attempt at a spreader

Try leaning back more with your *** forward of your body. That will get your legs further apart and alittle more comfortable.

Re: my firsts attempt at a spreader

props for trying... just lean back more and sit on your tailbone(?), and be smooth...you don't need a hb, when you learn, until you reach bp you'll be high in rpm so you got all the eb you need...and you'll thank yourself later...

Re: my firsts attempt at a spreader

i always bring my legs in or back to pegs when the front end comes down... makes for smother landing... takes away from that "flip over handlebars feel"

Re: my firsts attempt at a spreader

all my spreaders looked like **** till i got this bike, now they look cool

and yeah no HB, also i am no way flexible, if u push your clip-ons out or raise them some how to where they dont hit your knees, they look way better, also lifting your legs while your doing it helps.

ps dent your tank in good and slap alittle grip tape on it, you'd much rather have a fucked up looking tank, then a whole fucked up bike for sliding off when u go back to far and running over your own ankle n ****. just FYI if your **** isnt dented

That was great extension! For preferences I'd like to say, keeping your feet flat and almost "cupped" like that looks really solid.
