but the subframe cages will fit on a tweeked subframe or a perfect one
I just noticed that about the brace too. I think that they are prolly extra from powers because of what you said. They don't fit well, so maybe you get them afterwards and retro fit them? I dunno'

& tell than dude to get some "fatty" esd pegs if he doesn't like the stockers.

I like the stability and strength of the new pass. peg brackets, but I also wanted a stiffer subframe also to stop it from flexing or swaying, or even breaking when I stick the scrape bar.
I only have a little 110 wire fed welder(no gas), so I was looking also for a bolt on fix instead of just plating the sub-frame itself.

Any ideas OMR? And do you change the location of the pass pegs too?
On my 06 gix 600 they are very high, and back a bit. It is hard to find it w/my left foot when trying to go from sitdowns to staggards mid wheelie.
I know you haven't started on my application yet, but keep this in mind.
You wouldn't have to mess with exhaust mounts on the 06's, and I'm 6' tall. So move them bitches to a more comfy spot for me if you can, or don't already?!?

I thought it was like 185 for the bracket and a braided line? Then don't you have to buy an identical rear caliper for you bike too? My bikes is like 280. from the dealership,(just picked one up for $90. off a totaled 30 day tag wearin unit), and I haven't even added controls yet.
I think one of these set ups could potentially cost around 5 or 600 bucks for all new parts. Even with me savin $, I still will prolly spend around 450.
Way more than a normal handbrake, I only know one guy who has dual caliper set-up. I planned on it, but I have my reservations when I compare costs. I could sell my new caliper for 180, and prolly spend another 100 bucks on a reg. handbrake.
But it's also true what you say .... Ho hey's **** is pimp for sure, and I sort of understand the benifets of seperate systems. I just don't have enough experience to make an accurate decision yet.
Trial and error I guess, I just want to have some effin gas money left to

ride after I'm done!!

I left you a voicemail about my F4i cage and bar and if you had drop shipped it yet but haven't heard back. I ordered it through HAI last week. It should have Braewood Ave as the address on the invoice. Let me know if you shipped it yet or the ETA.

Re: Sick innovations Sub cage

I got the package today, thanks for the quick shipping Ian. I had a miscommunication on the type of bar with HAI so they'll be calling you about it.

the peg on powers subbies are damn near as fat as they are long....and round. why would you want them to fold?? I still have never gotten that. I used to have to fold my damn pegs back down in the middle of combos...I hated that ****.

Same here man, filters, not even oil!!
Yea I payed 90. for the caliper from a guy I know that sponsors alot of stunters, & owns a cycle salvage center. He ususally hooks me up, so I trusted him. I spend alot of money there, and I guess it evens out...
I didn't actually see exactly what I have(until I went to your link....******), but oooh snap if I didn't find the controls I'll need for my dual caliper set up I decided to go ahead and build! haha

Thanks, this right here is why I started posting on this site.
