GSXR CLips

yo gsxr owners just wondering who is runnin flipped clip ons? buddy told me that there is a special pin in the clips that wont allow you to do this. is this true? ive heard i have to flip the the tripple as well. will this allow those pins to fit? or am i better off ordering some woodcrafts and would i have the same dam problem? by the way its an 04 600

Yes there is a pin in the clip on that holds it securly to the triple, if you flipped them you may run into issues just my

****!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! if i used wood crafts would i run into this prob or is it just stock clips?

look, if u wanan flip stockers, then u have to grind off the pin...simple and done...or u can run woodcrafts, (which i do) and there is no modification...just take the old ones off and put new ones on....simple...i like the woodys better then the stockers cuz u can make them longer and if u bend or break a tube, the bar is only 12 dollars..my 2 cents...heres a pic of woods flipped..the first pic is my 05 with woodcrafts,,,,second pic is my old 02

its not so much cutting off the pins, without the pins sliding into the triple i'm sure there is some sort of strenghth issue, if some engineer designed it that way i'm sure they did it for a reason. I saw one guy with some ghetto *** ebay lookin clipons top mounted once and he must have not tightened the bolts enough because he did a stoppie and the right clipon spun around into the windshield, not cool.
