Starting a stunt team??

I'm just curious to what people think. A couple guys I ride with and I are thinking about startin a team. We're thinking if we want to take what we do to the next level (shows and eventually compititions) we need to have a name. I really don't care either way, I just stunt for the fun of it and realize I may never be as good as the "pros" ; however, It might be cool to be on a team and do some local shows.

I'm lookin for feedback from the average stunter (on a team or not). How do you guys feel about ridin on a team and doing shows and things of that nature verses just ridin for the fun of it and never taking it anywhere?

Yeah...I figured I would get comments like that.

Think of how many teams are out there with the word "extreme" in the name.

well from MY experience,it's more problematic then it is good unless of course your all that good of friends.i tried that whole "lets ride as a group" BS and all it got me was trouble and people thinking i was just as bad as the rest of the crew.(lying and so on)now i just ride for my own satisfaction and it's gotten me alot farther.to which his own though,so good luck in what it is you decide

Re: Starting a stunt team??

they are problly right. you get associated with the other rideres and if you do have any shady types you get labeled with that as well. but on the other hand sometimes you can find some local discounts and whatnot as a group so it could help or hurt dapending on the situation

well man its like this, your gonna ride anyway, might as well get a lil coin, you get pumped up from the croud, hell if you have a name sell a few tshirts.its all in how you market yourself.
its nice to get your ride`n to a level where it can pay for its self.
not say`in its not hard to make a living at it cause it is but if you use your head you can make your hobby pay for its self
