ok i have a whole rc51 front end and i was wondering if it would bolt up to my f4i????

i am also selling some 06 636 forks, triples, calipers, rotors, and front wheel that has a wobble in it but i believe it is fixable.

 

Nope the RC51 front won't fit......sell it to me.



954/929 triples and RC51 everything else.....awesome match for the F4i.

 

The Neck Is Different, But The Diameter Of The Forks Will Slid Into 929/954 Triples. The Forks Are Short Though, So It Will Dip The Bike Down In The Front.

Most People Put Their Clipons On Top Of The 929/954 Triples, So The Forks Are Slid Down About 2 Inches. You Wont Be Able To Do That With The Shorter Rc51 Forks. Also, You'll Need Front Wheel, Disks, Calipers, Etc. From The Rc. Its Easier To Find 929/954 Wheels Disks Etc.

yeah i have everything for the front end. i figured the triples wouldnt fit. i run dirtbike bars so i dont drop my forks anyways.

How about SC 57 (05 1000rr) front end on 02 F4i? Will it fit without mods?
And how much would you give for a complete set (triples, brake lines and calipers, front wheel witch brake discs) ?

 

it will fit but you have to cut the steering stops off the bottom triple because they are not far enough out and hit too soon.cut`m & drill a hole for a big hex bolt to be the new stop
oh yea,you wont to move it to where the stop hits right before the fork hits the frame

 

If it has the same bearings as a 954 you need to switch the races out.

F4/F4i/929 = Ball Bearings and matching races
954 = Pin bearings and matching races

You can swap all of the above to pin or ball.

 

like i dont know anything about f4is but is there some reason you guys are always tryin to change your forks to a set off a liter bike?

 

F4I FORKS BLOW! ONCE YOU GET SO GOOD YOU HAVE TO GET BETTER EQUIPMENT SO YOU CAN GET BETTER JUST LIKE ANY OTHER SPORT

 

I have this set-up. Works great.

 

f4i forks are sweet with good valving and springs. inverted forks just look so much better and litre bikes have way better brakes.

 

+1 on the looks cause f4i forks look ****** ugly
