si round bar

do you need to relocate the stock tail light with the si round bar on the f4i or can you just shave the top a little, i haven't actually ordered the bar yet so I can't tell for myself.

im ntrying to be a smart ***, but yea...

Oh and what i saw on that thread was, they removed the tailight and replaced it with a little light strip..

dunno, maybe 2 little light strips could work if your worried about street legalness... one off the running light and one running off the brake light wire.

BUUUUT, dont hold me to all that, im not an f4i rider.

OH **** my bad man. How big a differance is the diameter of the bar on SI or 905? I'd assume either way your gonna have to cut and relocate.

Re: si round bar

give us a call again. If were out in the shop, we normally cant here the phone. We receive so many calls every day, it would be very hard to reply to everyone. If we dont answer, just keep callin back. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Re: si round bar

make sure you cut the tip off the tail!!!! i thought it would be pimp to leave it untill i dragged the tail lightly to get to the round bar and it caught basically destroying my brand new tail!

i dont believe you can use your stock tail light. andthe 905 round bar is very similiar to the si round bar. just go to your local dealer/parts unlimited dealer and order a lite strip.
here ill even give you the part number for parts unlimited.
6" black base/ red lense ds-272357 $42.95

Re: si round bar

Those LED'S are Fing bright. You could get creative & make some really pimp taillght setups with those!

That taillight is so clean on your bike it almost looks like it came stock like that.
