Will a 04 gixxer 1000 freestyle cage fit on a 04 gixxer 600????

 

nope. if i remember correctly the loop is too narrow, tried it back in 05.

 

i got an 01-03 on my 04, the loop was alittle wider, but i just pulled it together and it works just fine, been on there now for about 3 months with no problems at all......i dont see why that setup wont, they are all almost the same, hell we got a 05-06 636 to work on a 05 gsxr 600....f.i. that is


i believe what jsteezy is talking about is an 05 1000, i tried it too and it wouldnt work, the pucks sit lower on the 05 and up so om mine the loop hit the pipes before bolting all the way up

 

Thanks....I kinda figured it would, I know the sliders will go in, im just worried about the lower bar going all the way under and maybe being too wide or not meeting with the other side.....I got one for an 04 gixxer 1000 but ive got an 04 gixxer 600 and people kept gettin the 04 mixed up with the 05 1000, practically there the same bodystyle bike....just hoping it would go on, im impatient and really wanna get busy on this bike but not without a cage....Ill have to just try it and see.
