Re: Easy F4i question.

just a guess but I'm thinking it's 50 in first, 117 in second and in between I don't know. On my 04 f4i "According to my spedo" it bounces off the rev limiter in 6th gear at 171mph.

Re: Easy F4i question.

70, 90, 110 (what's indicated on the speedo might be a little higher)... but actual speeds are real close to these numbers...and I believe most 600's are ratio'd very near these speeds also...and have been for years. granted it might take some longer than others to get there....hehe

No I don't want a drag F4i, I just sold my F2 & I'm gonna buy a F4i. I just wanted to know how far I can ride out the first three gears in a standup, before I gear for slower stuff. I got the info this thread can die out now. Thanks guys

Re: Easy F4i question.

i'm not going to ride quite to redline but I like fast wheelies!
And a big part of this thread was compairing my F2 to a F4i. I've never rode an F4i & I kinda wanted to see how it compared to my old bike.

Re: Easy F4i question.

your new bike will be Lighter...(It'll feel a ton lighter) it'll also have more power everywhere...but where you'll notice it the most is down low from Idle to 7000rpm your new bike will have wayyyyy better power and wayyy better throttle response...and much crispier feel.
You'll love it....it's a good step up ....
