Calling 02/03 R1 stunters

Hey..

Im looking to see what can be done on the 02/03 R1 stuntwise.

I'm also interested in finding pics of 12 bars for this bike. I'm not gonna put one on until I can scrape the taillight... consistently..

also, is there anyone that have had a custom made cage for the 02?

dude, I can only do close to 12s. I'm not gonna come say I do 12s and then when asked for pics I'll be trying to talk myself out of it you know.

sup FURRED-R1 .. lol.. stick to one site.. lol jk..

I'm doing them sitdown btw.. to start with.. I'm a master on the mountainbike to do "12s" and coasters.. but the R1 is just a tiny bit heavier and different ya know..

I almost hit 12 in a highchair on Friday last week.. got that on video. i'll see about getting it up here soon. it was just too damn high!.. got me a little scared.

No gearing yet BuddyLuv, I personally dont think the R1 needs it, but who knows I might end up gearing here sooner or later.

i haven't yet gone anyway from stock gearing. I want to.. but I don't really feel I have to.. but it'd be nice. input get to be big(ger) output than with gearing on.. if you know what I mean.

the picture is of me . on my way to a one handed.... such wheelie.

Johnny, I am looking for a good bar as well. Been talking to a few people about it. I have stock gearing in R1 right now. I am able to get it to 12, just not very far. It's technique. Once you learn it, you should be able to do it on any bike that wheelies. I see it all the time and it is the age old stunting story. Some guy swears his bike won't do it, then someone comes along and does it on their bike to prove the point, then you feel like a jerk. It's all technique and practice. I think that gearing will help you learn a little faster though. I might go up about 5 in back and down 2 or so in the front to see what's up with that. When I talked to Darius at the stunt comp last time he had said that he went up like 10-11 in the back and down some in the front. I'm not going that drastic, but I do want to see if there is any truth to the gearing improvement of the learning curve.
