I really want to change the swingarm for something wider, like atleast the f4 but prefferably something wider.

 

I believe you can fit a 900rr rear rim on there for a wider tire...

 

Iv seen a independent swing arm from a VFR 750 on a F2. Its on cycletrader right now as far as I know. Chech on ebay for the swing arm and parts to make it happen if you like that idea. There was a bunch of VFR parts on there.

are you saying I can put the 900 rim on my stock swingarm? And what else will fit I don't want any f2 parts on there unless nessessary.And how easy is it to put atleast an f3 upper on there?

 

I've owned one F2 for a short period of time,but I had an F3 I put 80K+ miles on. I did all kinds of crap to it.

You can swap everything from an F3 to an F2 the frame is almost identical. The only difference is the swingarm bolt is a larger diameter and you have to drill out the F2 frame.

The upper can be swapped, but you'll nead the headlight, lowers, and access covers from the F3. I can't remember, you might need the F3 fairing stay, but I don't think you do. Someone used to make a kit that swapped Ducati 748/916/996/998 Headlights onto the F3 and that improved the bike SO much. The headlight kills the look of the F3.

You can swap F4i gauges onto an F3, I found a tutorial on the web a long time ago, it was really trick.

I've swapped an F4i front end onto an F3. A machinist friend made some spacers so I could use the F4i rear wheel too. The swingarm was close, but I didn't ever put it on, got rid of the F3 about that time. You can also swap in a 900RR motor. About the time I was getting rid of my F3 I was looking into trying to swap in a 954 motor using carbs instead of efi, but I never went that far.

 

yeah, I got an f4i tailsection on it now , by the way does anybody got a rear seat cowl for that for sale? Also was wondering if I could put a f4 tank on it. If I Needed all the plastics to do the upper swap I would definitly go with the f4i.I also got the rear footpegs.Anybody got some f4i plastics and headlight for sale? And I definitly need a wider rim and the easiest way to do that.
