Im Hearing The 04 Gsxr Sub Frames Are Junk....can Someone Post Some Pics On How To Make These Things Stronger....or Some Instruction On How To Do It

 

TAKE A PIECE OF CONSTRUTION PAPER & MAKE A TEMPLET FROM FRONT TO BACK,THEN USE IT TO CUT A PIECE OUT OF 1/16 OR 1/8 ALUMINUM,SOME PEOPLE USE DIAMOND PLATE,THAN GET SOMEONE TO WELD IT ON.DOING THIS MAKES A HUGE DIFF. BUTT ITS STILL NOT AS STRONG AS AN F4I SUBFRAME.HELL IF YOU A BALLA CALL UP SCRAPE WORKS & BUY ONE MADE CROMOLLY TUBEING.......$650.OO... FLIP SIDE TO THAT IS ITS SO STRONG IT MAKES THE TABS ON THE FRAME THE NEW WEAK LINK..

I own one and will even admit to it.

 

i wanted one forever, but everyone told me about the motors hating life, and the subframes acting like twigs when u crash, so i got a 900 instead
