I made the cage for my r1. Im gonna make one for the 6 this weekend hopefully. My father in law rides harleys, and makes they "highway" bars, and handel bars and **** for him, his dad and his wife, so i put 2 and 2 togeather and asked him to help me build the cage. I got all the piping from Home Depot, and made plates for mouting instead of the screw in the tube. Its super tough, its been down countless times, and just a couple minor scratches, no dents or cracks. Plus even though the group buy is cheaper, making is WAAAAAY cheaper. I think for everything i paid like 50 bucks for piping, and i used the bolts off my frame sliders.

 

so is it tme to call and make are orders for the group buy

Believe me you're better off gettin the SI cage... not sayin the powers cage won't protect your bike but your clipons and controls will thank you... the SI has the best roll over protection out there.

 

is there anyway a stunt ferring stay could be thrown onto this?
