My buddy has a f4i in perfect shape. He is wanting something to protect his bike but all so look clean. So I was wondering how well the race rails work.

 

MXD 3pt cage bolts up to both motor mounts and is still low profile. I crashed with it and it served me well.

 

I got em and they work better than I though they would. On a hard hit they can bend up a bit though, and I've smashed a few sliders. Either way if he's not gonna learn on em or smash em hard then they are more than strong enough, otherwise ya, get the 3point MXD ones
