I had the GP tech along with a 02 R6 master. But I threw it out it wasn't reliable . I hated it I once had the o ring shoot out of it mid wheelie. I had it screwed down as tight as I could get it with out breaking the screw along with one hose clamp holding it down for security or so I thought.

well if this happened then you must have done some thing wrong maybe used the wrong brake fluid or some thing that softended the oring or had the wrong adapter because with the right adapter and a hose clamp how could this possibly happen ?

Re: r6 handbrake??

I use Motul RBF600 brake fluid I couldn't believe it myself the adapter moved up about a 1/4 inch opposite side of the screw and the oring squeezed it's way thru

you do know that your not suppused to mix motul 600 with any other kind of brake fluid right ?

you are supposed to flush and clean the whole system before putting in motul 600

Maybe the fact that he screwed it down as hard as possible without breaking the thing Torque specs are there for a reason

The screw did not break and the threads were not stripped

yeah they do not make an adapter for the 03's and up...you have to swap out the rear master with a 00-02..
