Stunting use to be my life back in socal before i joined the AF. I haven't really done too much in the last few years. I use to to own a 99' 900RR which was a great stunt bike and now I own a 03' 919. Ive have a few between but I'm just talking about these 2. The roads are still cold here so tires aren't sticking too well but wheelies just don't feel right. I brought one up last night and i didn't feel like i had any control at all. the engines on the 2 bikes are almost identical accept that the 900f is fuel injected w/ smaller cams and a 0.2:1 lower CR. I haven't really had a chance to tear it up but it almost feels like may be the throttle is too responsive, i cant have got that bad. My gearing is still stock so perhaps that could be playing a part as well. Anyone stunt on a 919?

You won't find too much info on your 919 here. I'm in the same boat. I just got a Yamaha FZ1, I was lookin for info also. Most guys here stick to the 600s. I, personally think the 919 is a great platform to start with. The 919 was one of my possibilities, but I found the FZ1. Have fun, you'll be tearin that thing up in no time!

 

Ive only been gone for about 2 years now and its amazing to see how good people have gotten. I remember riding with JD and Jason Britton and all these REALLY REALLY good riders, the best at the time. now it seems like everyone and and their mom can do a no handed circle. I guess ill be getting a rear hand break and.... yeah i dont know but i hate this cold weather what do you guys think about the cam thing? think if i dropped in some RR cams from the 900 and lost some of that low and mid range it would help?
