Re: 929 Help

Unless you have the tip over sensor tripped it wont prime without the headlight plugged in.

Re: 929 Help

Hook up the guages and turn the key on....the red light will blink and it will tell you all of the problems....
Long blinks and short blinks combo to isolate the probelms

Post em

U will see long blinks then short blinks, the long ones are the 1st number like 3 long and 5 short = 35 and then a problem can be isolated!!!

Re: 929 Help

havent you had this problem for a few months? to check the red error code you have to use a jumper wire on the test plug. i forget where it is and its to latate to go look at my bike. but if you been having problems for a while you might wanna try a new wire harness or a new cpu. you might be able to find the wiring problem but if you havent found it yet you might not find it till the riding season is over. lol just my 2cents

Re: 929 Help

Look at under the tank right rear of the air box is a fuse and sensor....check the sensor connection and hose....This is the fuel sensor hose it will totally mess up the bike running...

Re: 929 Help

You don't likely need a new wire harness, trouble shoot the issues///

If 0 blinks
open curcit at the power input wire of the ecm
faulty bank angle sensor or related curcit
engine stop relay problem / wires
faulty engine switch
ecm problem
blown pgm-fi fuse

remember the red light stays on for a few seconds then it will start blinking long/short blinks...
blown sub fuse of ignition...

these are the problems associated with 0 blinks on the guages...
