has anyone dented down a tank on a 06 gsxr the tanks are different, take a look at them see if u think that they can be dented down to do tank wheelies

 

Just Put Some Grip Tape On It. That Bike Is So New If U Do A Shitty Job Your Going To Hate Yourself. I Shure As Hell Wouldnt Take A Hammer To My 05 Gsxr600 Just My Two Cents.

I have the same bike. I just used grip tape from the hardware store and it works fine! You still have to hold on pretty tight but it definetly helps!

 

Skateboard grip tape. Skateshops, CCS, anywhere skate related.

 

just dent it with a dead blow hammer!!! then grip tape it or get some spray in bedliner in a can from the auto parts store.

06 gix doesnt have the plastic tank cover like the RR does it? if so, you will have to remove that, dent the tank, then melt the plastic cover over the dented tank.

 

They do. Its got a plastic piece toward the front that covers the air filter......I think.
