I have a quick question regarding cages. I noticed that some companies dont make a cage for the 06 600rr but others claim that their cage will fit from 03-06 600rr's. I just wana know if there is a difference in the design of a cage between 03 600rr's and 06 600rr's. FI claims that its all the same, but powers claims that there is a difference form 03-05 and the 06. Can someone help me out with this before i go buying the wrong cage for my bike.

I went with a FI cage on my 06 rr and it works great

I would say give Powers a call. He has an 06 (mine) at his shop right now designing a new subframe and round bar for it, and he would be able to either sell you a cage for the 06, or at least tell you if the 04 and 06 are the same. I think they are different because when he heard I had an 06 he really wanted it to fit the new products.
