Do you have to adjust rear suspension?

My question is, does adjusting rear suspension to be softer will give a smoother and steadier wheelie? I was told that but i'd was wondering if someone knew or tried it before.

Re: Do you have to adjust rear suspension?

a more rigid bike makes for easier wheelies due to the fact that the energy exerted from the rider clutching the bike up is not absorbed through the suspension.

stiff suspension= less energy to get the front wheel up
