New Full throttle inc handbrake line kit
Re: New Full throttle inc handbrake line kit
what do you actually need besides the cable kit?

That is a brake lever and master from an 02 gsxr 600.
Would that and the line kit be all I'd need?
I just dont know all the pieces involved in putting together a complete setup. Sorry I'm n00b.

Re: New Full throttle inc handbrake line kit
I do not see how this would be any different from the other adapters it still has just the one screw holding it in thus the need for hose clamps. I see it as another cheap part thats quick and easy to manufacture to make a quick buck. I expected more from fullthrottle. I spent a good 20 minutes on the phone with Fullthrottle a few weeks back and the way he was describing it made it sound not like a cheap adapter but something 10times better. I will wait till hohey comes out with with a dual caliper bracket for my bike before I waste money on another adapter
Re: New Full throttle inc handbrake line kit
DAMMIT!!!! i just got my gp tech adapter last week and it sucks how it hits the swingarm especially after going down my swingarms now has some nice new dents in it and im waiting for the adapter to break. . i guess i should have waited
Re: New Full throttle inc handbrake line kit
Looks like a good product and with the threading a great idea and design, and this is great for people that cant afford his other product...
I just think its really funny how when I used to post that a leak free adaptor(ie welded on fittings) can work just as good as the FT billet masters, people on here would say I didnt know what I was talkin about blah blah blah...And now that FT makes adaptors those same people are gonna say thier just as good too now

oh, and ya, bill is DEF just trying to make a quick buck
it IS a lot better than the gp tech version. the tolerances are more precise, yadda yadda yadda
Re: New Full throttle inc handbrake line kit
I did not see the new box that reads "adapter kits" on fullthrottles site. thanks teach.
Please feel free to send me a complimentary adapter and I will test it out and give a full review

Re: New Full throttle inc handbrake line kit
****, here we go again.
Look out everyone, here comes the bandwagen!!!
People on here are ******* ridiculous. A couple weeks ago there was a thread about a dual caliper setup. People said a few kind words about it, so everyone else followed the lead, sayin how gp tech fittings and the FT setups are bad just cuz of the one pump lag possiblity. Dual caliper all the way, bla bla bla. Everyone was switchin over to the bracket setup.
Now we see this. The bandwagen response? Sick! Awesome! WTF????
Nobody really has their own opinion, its just follow the dam leader around here. Or if a big name stunter posts somethin, everyone and their cousin will agree. If Darius posted a pic of him ridin a spreader three inches off the ground, everyone would post how he is god. But a newb posts that, and it would be a flame festival.
Think for yourself people.
I myself currently run the complete full throttle setup, and think its a good way to go. Mine isn't bled right, or has an air bubble, so it does have a one pump lag. IT IS the essentially the same as this one here, or a properly setup GP tech unit. This setup posted here looks like an upgraded version of the GP tech.
Is there more to it than that? Is it as revolutionary as some of the posts above are tryin to make it? Probably not.
Rant over, carry on.

Re: New Full throttle inc handbrake line kit
This adaptor is entirely different from any other, it creates it's own threads in the master cylinder bore that both secure the adaptor from moving and seal the adaptor as well. The screw off to the side and the o-ring that the other adaptors rely soley upon are just redundant sealing and retention with this product.
I will always carry the fullthrottleinc rear master cylinder. It's a good product. With the addition of a bleeder it's easy to set up, it's very reliable and is trusted by the best riders in the country. It provides fantastic feedback at the pedal through tighter internal tolerances and looks good too. For those whom a $245 billet rear master cylinder is completely beyond what they can spend I wanted to offer a reliable alternative. I've spent the last 3 years building Fullthrottleinc's reputation with quality service and products and wouldn't consider jeopordizing that with cut-rate, quick buck parts. That isn't the way I do things.
Handbrake performance is all about rigidity. If anything moves, flexes or leaks you will have a less effective handbrake. I'm selling an adaptor kit and a top quality steel braided line to the handlebar for $100. It won't ever leak or move, so you get maximum performance out of your handbrake. Is that such a bad thing?
