Re: whats up with SSB Magazine..

I hope not.....but seeing a decline in content over the past six months. It's a shame if that's where it's headed.

Re: whats up with SSB Magazine..

yeah, i've heard about the decline, but the latest issue is rediculous... don't quote me, but i wanna say there's only one page with a stunt pic on it in the whole mag....

Re: whats up with SSB Magazine..

It would be awesome if they had someone like a sports commentator who wrote specifically about individual riders, and could comment from an experienced voice on their personalities and riding styles.

*cough cough cough*

Re: whats up with SSB Magazine..

Its all about 300 kits, and custom stuff nobody cares about. at least have a send in your own pics and have people from all over the world sending there Sickest pics. I can see how it would be hard to make an entire magazine about a (new) sport, but they should have thought about that before thousands of people subscribed.

what are you gonna write about? how ever rider tastes different!?

-

SSB is doing their thing.. like thomas said how many stunt events went on in dec and nov?
bullo i agree with also they could definitely do some more stunter stories but..

dont expect them to just call u up and be like yo this is big dave im sending a reporter to live with you for a few days and do a story on you. lol
if you think you have a good story worthy idea, do the work. write the story, take the pics, send it to them.

maybe they print it. maybe they dont

Oooh! How could I not have seen that coming? He's like a ninja. Thank god he can't bust out any insult combos or anything too technical.

Now that I've ben thrown under the bus I suppose I'd better refrain from coughing for a while.

Re: whats up with SSB Magazine..

Kane edited in a good point under all the gay. If you send in good stunt related articles, they may actually run them. They can only work with what they have.

And much like Kane, it can be pitifully insubstantial.

ok, I kid. Nothing about SSB is pitifully unsubstantial.

Re: whats up with SSB Magazine..

No doubt man ! I swear she has nothing better to do. As if she has been around long enough to write about stunt riders....

Excessa if you threw as much time into your "documentary" as you do lurking and trying to gain attention in these forums, that shiat would be done by now.

Between you, Bibo and a few other retards in here its barely worth the login.

No....but could have done phone interviews with AC or CP on them looking forward to coming to stuntwars or something like that. Would have been a very interesting read....doesn't always have to be about events only.

Could have review and comparisons on protective equipment and apparel.

I think with all this talk about some stunters having impressive looking bikes. They could do some spreads like the stretched busas.

Interviews with actual Stunt filmakers.

Help and how to section. I remember the first few original issues.......when pro's were giving tips.

just throwing in my on a cold snowy night.

Re: whats up with SSB Magazine..

That seems to be the way of all the stunt realted media.

Magazines and websites... Hard to make a buck off the stunt riding.

Not saying impossible, but hard.

exactly, all anybody cares about these days is money money money. it makes me sick. a little while ago they were testing the covers of the magazine to see what sells better, stuntbikes or squidbikes? and once they realized the turbo busa bullshit is what sells, they decided stuntriding is unimportant. and jesus christ could there possibly be more advertising???
