Supernationals Auto Show
QUIT ASKING OR SENDING THEM QUESTIONS IF THEY WILL SPONSOR A STUNT SHOW.. HERES WUT REGGIE SENT ME BACK SAYING....
Greetings all and thanks for your inquiry. We can appreciate your request
and actually would love to have something like this at the show, however
there are some factors that will not allow it. I do have some other ideas
where we could accommodate your event and have listed the OTHER IDEAS below.
Thanks again for the offer and hopefully we can work you into our other
events.
First to host an event such as this, you need a area to do it in and we
really don't have one. The fairgrounds doesn't donate areas for events like
this and we can't just put it on. If it were possible to host this on the
street for instance out front of the building we would incur a charge of
about $800 per day X 3 days = $2,400. All the parking lots are used for $
premium parking and they won't let you use them because that's where they
make a lot of their money...parking cars.
Additionally to have an event like this we would be required by the
fairgrounds to place insurance ($1M to $2M) on the event and that would cost
approximately $1500 to $2000 (liability insurance).
Events such as this also have to be approved by the fairgrounds such as
everything else we do. They keep a strong hold on our event and we can't
just have events that have moving objects as they control what you do on
their property.
As you can see it isn't as easy as it sounds and would get a little pricy
and this show does not have the overhead to handle $4000+ to host the event
as well as an appropriate place to host.
I can tell you that I ride as well, just an old Honda, someday I dream of
having a cooler bike, but we want you to know we enjoy bikes and stunt
drivers, so its not that we wouldn't like to host the event, its just that
were already fully committed and budgeted to all the other events that are
connected with the show.
We hope you understand and we also hope you enjoy the show this year.
I DO HAVE A COUPLE OF OTHER IDEAS.......
I do host some summer shows where we could actually accommodate this and
would love to have you guys put on the show. We actually have lots of room
at those events and would really like to have you participate.
Also, There is the bike show coming up and they may still need an event
such as this and they may be able to accommodate it.
Here is there information. Best Regards, Reggie
