any idea where i can find that tool?
i just used my dremel to cut the plastic adjuster cover off and will just use a flat head to adjust lever distance

plastic? All the ones Ive had were Aluminum........The tool my buddy had was from Snap-on and probably cost and arm and a leg, It was almost like a
C-clamp with differnt size push pins you could change for different size cotter pins.....I dont have one I just use a nail I modify or old drill bit shaft thats the exact sise of the cotter pin, some precise tapping and it pops right out......

And didnt your new lever come with a new adjustment ****? When Ive order replacement levers they came with a new ****......But not a new cotter pin Brembo even have shorty levers that you dont have to cut and you can keep the ball end....

Why dont you one up Darius and get one of these remote adjusters? They replace the **** and you can adjust on the fly....
