db bars

hey.. i have a f4... do i need to get longer brake lines if i go to db bars??? would i need longer throttle cables??? anyone that has done this with a f4i .. same thing... help me out!!

im pretty sure my bike has the stock lines, im not sure becuase i didnt put them on but they look like the stockers

dan dont be a *****.....dont get *** bars...just get ur self sum sweet vortex fi or woodcraft clipons...they are more adjustable then bars, u can run an upper eventually if u want to...plus all the tricks u mount dirtbars for....u can do with stock clipons wats the point

the point is to git rid of those silly little clipons

Or you can even just cut the tabs off on the stock clip ons did mine with a dremel and it came out nice.

all the stock lines / cables will fit . if you cant get the throttle or clutch to reach with your desired routing the 900rr cables are a bit longer . let me know how you make out

i checked mine there the stock f4 lines and they still have a little slack

thanks guys... i'm buying the universal risers today and this weekend i'm going to put it on.... thanks for the help.. i'll let u know how it comes out.. also my si cage WILL be in today!!!:YEAH :YEAH

i want to try the db bars.. i turned out my clip ons already and i want to give it a try.. nicks letting me use his bars so its on b'otch

I will admit vortex clip on style looks 100% better in my opinion but on the other hand i just put on db bars and huge diference it was , most tricks other than sit down circles are easier !!! no doubt about it , got to get used to it but better in the end !!! still dont really like how it looks though
