Couple Q's before im off to work.....
Im going streetfighter but want to know about the air vent tubes on the f4i, do I pop them out of the air box or cut them to leave a couple of inches sticking over the frame? Will the bike get enough air and stay cool enough what does everyone do with air vent tubes?
Second I need some info on shortening my Yoshi 47 TRS pipe, the shorter I go the louder? Anybody have the pipe shortened and is it going to be too loud for daily riding?
Ok, thanks everyone have a great f-ing day!!!!

Pull them out the air box that way if you want to put them back you can.If everything is working the bike should stay cool. Yes shorter = louder but not to bad.
Re: Couple Q's before im off to work.....
depends on where you cut the pipe! is it completely open? then yes, the shorter the louder! but if it has chambers you can cut it before or after the dampening chambers!
Re: Couple Q's before im off to work.....
Cut my yoshi RS3 pipe down to like.....6 in. The entire length of the pipe, is as long as that riveted logo on the side......and it's LOUD like a motherfcuker....:YEAH
Re: Couple Q's before im off to work.....
I cut my yoshi down like 6or 7 inches too.. Repacked it with new packing ridable to start with but after killing the streets one night it was crazy loud. Stock cut down (if done correctly) is the best in my opinion, I can ride any lots and it chugs like a champ!
Re: Couple Q's before im off to work.....
take out the tubes and duct tape one side closed. Buy a stock can off ebay and cut it down and have someone weld it after. That way when your at the lot the cops don't come every time you clutch it up..

+1 bike runs fine withough intake tubes, they only add a lil power on the freeway where air comes straight at you at speed, but up on one the bike scavnges for air anyway you go but has a shorter distance to travel without them. if u like noise cut ur pipe, if u keepen it quiet hack your stocker pipe
