954 Forks for 600RR
954 Forks for 600RR
Hey guys looking to by a 600RR 03 it has conventional forks, will 954 forks fit on i've heard they fit straight onto an f4i, WHY are upside down better than convetional just seems to be the go? thanks
Re: 954 Forks for 600RR
they bolt up......you gotta usa the 954 lower triple and stem, and front rotors from the 954,rim and axle are the same, and the steer bumps are different.they make it turn maybe an extra half an inch each way.works and feels good though.
Re: 954 Forks for 600RR
yes... i do not own an f4i or a bike with conventional forks but i have heard that when doing stoppies conventional shocks actually move and they do not have the feel of inverted forks
Re: 954 Forks for 600RR
inverted forks just feel better, it seems to do the 954 front its worth it to just get 05+ 600rr inverted forks, but u have the forks on the clip on portion being conpressed into instead of compressing into. also less weight down by the wheel n focused closer to the neck where it'll have less movement and have less of a weakening effect from movement
