enginebrake...?
so I've been reading alot of stuff on handbrakes, but I also heard something about enginebrake, and want to know more about this...do you have it? where do you mount it? left or right clipon? above or under the clutch? is it better than handbrake? does it make you a better? can I learn some new tricks with it? who sells them? what's the best setup and where do I order one?

Re: enginebrake...?
While I bet this is just a language issue, this is perhaps the funniest **** I've ever read. I did see ScarybarryGary have a sick engine brake setup when his front caliper bolts broke on the left side and his caliper was shoved into his airbox. He had the sickest engine brake I ever saw!

Re: enginebrake...?
When you're riding your bike and you let off the gas the compression of the motor automatically slows the bike down. Kind of like a rev-down. That same slowing of the motor (engine brake) is how Seat Standers, High Chairs, and Spreaders were done before hydraulic hand brake set-ups.
Re: enginebrake...?
thank you very much, you've been of great help
Re: enginebrake...?
well, seems that your right, I guessed the european bikes don't have this brake built in...you americans are soooo lucky...so is it built in the throttle or in the engine itself? can I just buy american throttle for my bike and swap it? anyone has one to sell for 900rr?
thank you very much, you've been of great help

let me know.. Re: enginebrake...?
Bruno every bike out there has engine braking. Its just part of every bike US or not. These guys are ******* with you bro. But bigger sprockets make more engine braking. You don't buy or install anything you just let off the gas and keep the clutch released. If you want to feel it just rev out first pull in the clutch & you will feel the bike coast now release the clutch & you will feel the bike slow down with engine revs. & congrats cause you just found out what engine braking is.
