Msr Lever

Just got my msr raptor lever. I read a few posts about these levers fraying clutch cables. If you take the plastic cover off, you can change the angle of the cable adjuster. As long as you change this angle whenever you change which hole you put the cable in, I dont think it should fray any cables.

Re: Msr Lever

Hmm a moose and raptor lever are 100% the same besides the cover. Put one beside the other with the cover off.. I can't tell anything different other than the cover and the raptor has the 3rd hole.

Decepticon: Did you try changing the adjuster angle along with the hole position?

Re: Msr Lever

Other than the cable fraying, does the lever work good?

Exactly the same... even same packaging. They obviously come from the same manufacturer... just very subtle differences like the cover, rubber coating on the lever and 3rd hole.

It was the old style that frayed cables... the new ones (raptor pro) do not... they work identical to the moose.

I have one of each that I use every day. To be honest, I like the moose a little bit better cause the end of the lever is slightly skinnier and dosent have the rubber. Fits my finger better.
