I'm guessing you get on the brakes at 30 mph, but the rear tire doesn't actually lift off the ground until you have slowed down to like 15 mph or less. Try getting on the breaks at like 40-45 mph so when the tire lifts off you'll be around 30 mph.

I hope you have a steering damper too...cuz headshake will cause you to hurt.

if you are gonna start learning how to roll good stoppies it is pretty much a given you are gonna go over the bars. when this happens you will feel the bike go past the bp and you will know that its going over. when this happens to me i jump as fast as i can forward. once i landed superman style and the bike flipped on my foot, no major damage. the last time i landed on my feet and started running, no damage.

bottom lined dont try and hang on once it is going over. that is a bad situation.

i used to when i learned i would rev out first, grab the clutch and bring it up right after i grabbed the clutch.
