www.sickinnovations.com has the cage you need and will be cheaper than the powers. One of my teammates wadded a coaster at 70 on the highway on his gix6 with the SI cage and the bike was ride-able right after that...

Re: Cages, Good Buys And Bad.....

i reinforced my stator and clutch cover with bars that bolt to the enigne mounts and connect to each other so i wouldnt have to rock a cage.

sick innovations, beefy cages, good quality, and a very good price for such a good cage! Cheaper than the other ones too...

Re: Cages, Good Buys And Bad.....

Can there be a comparison to the lifetime warranty and spring loaded slider goodness that a Tygershark.net cage offers? I think Sick inovations and Powers make nice cages but the size coupled with the relatively low tech outlook made me approach tygershark, happy as hell I did. The "Apex predator" cage is a double bar solid tube steal design that looks sick as hell and takes serious abuse. They make a street cage I'm going to try soon too.

It's a floater, But the design keeps it from rolling over by putting the stress on the slider. If you saw Bullo's last street clip when he lowsides that drift and slides on the slider but brings the bike back up and rides off, thats the best way to see how the cage works. It rocks on the lower pice then puts all the stress and weight on the slider, but the angle wont let it roll over. Does that make sense? Too much rum and eggnog for me so I may have to type this again when the mind is less.... my mothers calling it festive, but I'm just **** faced.
