Just wanted to bring up a point that was made a few times by some real sick riders...John Legion in particular.

Throttle control is everything!!! We went out and blew up the streets on Sunday and I rode with a friend I havent seen in a while. He has a blinged out gsxr750 (that even has some running probs...thanks Wheeliest) with chrome wheels, screen, nice paint...it does have a dented tank and 55 sprocket but other than that stock, just pretty.

Anyway, he can scrape his tail on the highway(no bar) doing spreaders and highchairs....NO HANDBRAKE!!! All he uses is throttle control and engine brake. I was incredibly impressed and loved seeing it all day..not too mention some sick combos too.

Just thought I would throw it out there...big up to riders with some real sick skillz!!!

Ive heard of people doing it, just never saw it. Its crazy and sick!!! I loved seeing it!! It makes me want to just start completely over and work on the basics. Thats real skill. (not down playin hb's)

 

i still dont have a hb...but i cant even imagine trying that type of ****.
scares me just thinking about it.

I said the same thing. I asked him, and he told me he is perfectly comfortable up there. When he does his hc's he said he cant see anything, he just knows to go straight....??? Crazy but fckn bad ***!!! :YEAH

 

no HB **** is good to learn, being smooth on the throttle and slowin it down is so sweet, that's to me the best part of learning:YEAH

 

looping the fvck out the first time in secound gear on public roads is the best feeling!

 

I think there was a video on judgement day or something with kyle woods betting someone he could 12 a highchair and bring it back with no handbrake.

 

no hb is definitely gangster, but there are too many nifty new tricks out there that require it to not have one. those who refuse to get a hb will never be able to do a high chair circle, or a frog coaster...

 

i would like to see a clip of dude scraping a hc with no bar or hb and only a 55 tooth, on the freeway, hum.

 

We had no video, but I can promise you he was doing it and we will get vid eventually. This was probably the last nice day we are going to have for a while. According to other posts, there are people that can do even more without a hb...

Actually, Im sure if he rode with any of the streetfighterz or from what Ive seen of Andy from the Shockers, I have no doubt that any of them could do it and then some. THis kid is by no means a pro or even close. His list of tricks ends there. He rides only street, no lots and has no brake control, its all about throttle control.

when people say "highway" it means different things from one person to another.

Highway to me means 3rd and 4th gear, not 2nd gear holding up traffic at 40 mph.

I agree with your definition. Yesterday, he threw it up in 3rd, went to ss and then jumped to the tank for a spreader. The Hc was slower but still around 40-50mph

 

Anyone that can combo at 60 mph has my respect.

The speed is scary when you are jumpin around the bike, that is for sure.

not calling your bluff but in 2nd or 3rd on the highway i just dont see a 55 tooth having enough engine brake to be scraping HC's with no HB. maybe high rpms in first or second.....MAYBE second but that would be great to see
