Re: SSB doesnt like stunts!?

Damn I think you just successfully compacted this whole entire thread into one simple, direct well-said sentence!

Re: SSB doesnt like stunts!?
There's a bit in SSB for everybody, and any sportbike enthusiast should be excited that there's a mag exclusively dedicated to sportbikes.
If you hate on custom bikes you're just being ridiculous. Remember how sick it was to see Darius rocking his carbon fiber blue and white R1? Nasty.
Contrary to what parking lot stunters on crunchy, zip-tied wrecks like to believe, there is more to the motorcycle (sportbike) industry than how many circle wheelies one can ride.
Think of this...
FMX is huge, yet I can't think of a single mag dedicated only to FMX. If an FMX event gets covered in Dirt Rider or something like that I would imagine those guys are pretty pumped...but if every cover of Dirt Rider had a backlflip on it, not only would the shock value be cheapened, but it would alienate the other readers that are simply into dirtbikes on the whole.
Don't fret, stunting isn't being phased out! Geez.
The goal is to grow the sport, not crush it because of some imaginary "content controller."

And all this time I thought I had a sportbike. Guess the old F3 is a cruiser after all...
I don't know you man - from what I gather you are good and you have helped the stunt scene.
That being said, you sound like a complete snob right now.
This is always the transition from anything underground to mainstream. The never-ending, "sell out" dillema.
People should stunt what they got and be commended when they take place over someone with a minty 636. Not having points deducted for having a piecer.
I'm not even sure I understand why they are given points in the first place. They should just show up - stunt, and whoever is liked the best wins.
I dunno - but someone shouldn't be put down cause they got an older bike.
