sounds pretty central to me. its a small town but the track is very nice. with a couple of big parking lots!!!!

theres a couple in there that are in the middle of nowhere....which kinda scares me because if someone were to go down hard and hurt themselves emergnevcy services would be kinda far away.

but like me people would still ride...regardless of the consequences.

Drag strips seem to limit the fun tho because of limited room.

What about the coliseum in Jackson, MS? Use to use the lot for Autocross racing. I bet I can get something hooked up somehow.

this is a good idea... this could get press and sponsers for lots of people that cant afford to go to fl every year or xdl... im down to attend it and im sure all my guys here would go too!

 

uh...since when did mississippi become central? lol...

south dakota would be more central. nebraska, kansas... much further east and it's a dang long drive for us west coasters... understand you gotta go where you can get a location worked out, but i'd love to see something more central than mississippi.

Darius, why don't you set up the event and invite Jason Britton out, when you know the date and place? I'll bet he'd enjoy this as much as any of you, to get to chill with everybody.

And if he's not sick of dragging a film crew along, maybe they could go too?

I'm coming in way late in this thread but sounds like a great idea. BMX guys do it they did a Ghetto Skate park comp on fuel tv and it was just about the best thing i've ever seen the awards were just **** thrown together rims one guy ate some serious **** going big. but it was all rider based with some of the best in the world chillin there. Nix the dragstrip it would be way better to have a runway for sure. everyone can leave there ego's at the gate and have a chill weekend. great plan make it happen :YEAH:YEAH

Richards Gebaur AirPort/former Airforce Base might be a good semi-central location in Grandview, Missouri.........literally right off 435 from Kansas, near 71 highway.
*plenty close to lots of hospitals
*"central" location
*its CLOSED
*9000' runway......have your fastest endo comp if you want.....no money, just 9000' to try to grind away what skin you have left!

Now if theres anyone who could pull enough strings to be able to use it!!!

 

It would be cool to have everyone gather round the first day and all come up with some cool ideas and different "fun" events we could do.
