Re: 1998 Cbr900rr

I have a 97, clean title and all the goodies. I am selling mine too. I want an f4i. Will trade!!!! Anyone??!!!

Its a good bike, sweet balance point, the fckn thing just sits there, but very bulky and heavy. If you rock the streets a lot...this is your machine. I would go smaller and lighter for the lots though.

Re: 1998 Cbr900rr

i ride '94, full stock, just lots, little bit heavy compared to newer bikes, but alot of torque and power...I like it!

the only thing that goes on my nerves is clutch adjuster which sucks (also heard this from other ppl that own one)...you always have to readjust it cuz it loosens and it feels like it's going to fall out...I'm scared of this when doing coasters...it wouldn't be pretty...

I want somwhere around $3500 with all the parts and clean title frame. Ive got vortex clipons, steering stabilizer, powers cage, -1 +10sprockets and new chain, bar, and the engine only has 8k on it. If you want it without a salvage frame, take off $500

Or like I said, trade for an f4i, 00-02

Re: 1998 Cbr900rr

98/99 900rr with a 954/929 frontend is the best endo bike hands down.

And for everything else it's pretty good, i wish i still had mine.

Re: 1998 Cbr900rr

I've got one with the 929 front end and have always been happy with it. It's taken a steady beating for the last 4 years without complaint. 98-99 motors were the best as they were the 919cc motor and made the most power out of the three versions of the 900rr motor, the oil pick up is towards the back where as the older motors had them farther foward. Run an extra quart of oil and your set. Run a fuel pump and a pressure regulator for slow stuff behind balance point so the motor doesn't bog out and stall. The original bandwagon bike for good reason!
