Re: speeding tickets

DELAY, DELAY, DELAY! And hope that the cop forgets to show up when the court time does come up. Thats the best thing you can do. Otherwise you wont and never will ever win a speeding ticket.

Re: speeding tickets

ask the prosecutor if you can make a donation..its better than an infraction that goes against your insurance

Re: speeding tickets

I would call today and reschedule your court date....every speeding ticket I've ever gotten I've rescheduled at least 2-3 times...by that time the cop forgets and doesn't show up and my ticket gets written off....if that's not the case, when i go to court I ask the judge to not give me points on my record, you pay more, but it's worth it...i forgot what it's called though!

Re: speeding tickets

I have a friend that got out of a speeding ticket. His lawyer asked for the prosicuter to testify. The officer stood up and started to say something and the lawyer pointed out the fact that the radar gun was the prosicuter, not the officer. An since the radar gun cant testify in court the judge dropped the ticket.

Also if they used a radar gun ask to see records of when the last time the radar gun was calibrated. Most departments have to recalibrate the guns before every shift. If they dont then the radar gun could be wrong and it will be thrown out.

Re: speeding tickets

The cops in america dont get paid to show up for court??....lucky bastards...cops in canada get paid now to go to the court to fight the tickets to make sure you get them....but that delay idea sounds good.
