just my opinion (i can only speak for myself), but i dont think anyone who is getting in this is doing so because of Kane. I know the only reason that I am is because I have a chance at breaking the record and there is a lot on the line ($20,000 and National TV exposure). I dont know what Kane's motives are for having this comp, nor do I care. I think this could be big and I want to be part of it, simple as that. besides, i think it'll be fun!

No matter his motives, I think what Kane is doing is smart... using the record while he still owns it to create and event that will have enough public appeal to get on Discovery channel and can attract this much $$$ and attention... If he waited til someone broke his record it would be a lot harder to pull this off... It think its very smart on his part to use this to make some $$$... the only thing I dont like is that he is going to use footage of me to make $$$... I think either all of us should be allowed to film, or NO ONE AT ALL except Discovery Channel should...

 

Yeah I kinda see your point. But honestly, he doesn't really care about pushing this sport forward from what I can tell. Yeah he might say think about all the exposure, the $$ and getting your name out there....but he will be riding the coat tails of whoever does it. To me I would be pissed if I saw my footage out there and someone else is selling it off to put $$ in their pockets. Yeah, he setup the challenge. So you know he's already gonna walk away with some $$ if not the prize money. If someone such as him really wanted to do "something" for the sport of stunting then whoever won would be the only person to gain something from it....not him as well. I don't resepct the man as far as personal morals and ethics go. Yeah, business ethics he might have, but in my book having a badass personality goes a long way. Just my

 

I think Kane said if discovery does pick this up, that they would be the only ones with video rights. And no one else would be allowed to tape including him...At least I thought I read that in one of the past 100 pages, there's been so much "off topic" that I cant really remember.
