r1's?
r1's?
wat do u guys think of em as stunt bikes. i havent seen many guys ridin em. is there any particular reason? besides being a thou.. i can pick on up very cheap and just want to make sure they are a decent bike to learn slow stuff on.
Re: r1's?
the thing with r1's is that to increase speed, they use lighter and less durable parts, your best bet is buy it, make it pretty and sell it, and dont get an r6 to stunt on either, they're not much more durable
Re: r1's?
There twitchy, fragile, and the engines don't like to be at 12.. same goes for R6... The most common stunt rides are going to be the hondas and kawi's... They are just more durable and just as easy to come by.
Re: r1's?
I had a 2000 and blew a motor pretty quick (12000km motor, with about 1000 stunt kms)
I didn't drop it much at all, so I don't know anything about the durability. Wheelies just like anything else with a +10 rear.
