From what I have heard, its harder to turn your wrist when your leaned off to the left, then it is to operate a thumb throttle. Also, if you catch a rut and the bars jerk around its less likely that you will gas it on accident.

I have had a thumb throttle for over 3 years, not that i cant ride a twist throttle just way more comfortable with the thumb after growing up on four wheelers.

It is the stock pull cable from the twist throttle with a yamaha raptor thumb throttle and u got to re route the cable thru the frame, and mount the starter/kill switch somewhere to start the bike

i hate thumb throttles whether it be on a bike or quad they ****... i put 1/4 turn twist throttles on all my quads...

I'd give it a shot... I prefer them on quads, less likely to 'whiskey throttle', and I prefer the thumb levers over the index finger trigger type levers on jetskis.
