600 rr tank

anyone got any pics of a 600rr tank smashed in i know you gotta bash the real tank part and then melt the plastic but ive never seen one.

Here's one...We ended up denting it again and got it alot deeper. I will look for the pics after we got it dented in deeper

aww i seee you use some kind of body hamer or just a regular hammer? now what about the plastic cover did you just heat it up with a torch?

Use a dead blow hammer on your tank. I works way better than a rubber mallet or a metal body hammer. You can get one at any auto parts store. Then after you beat the tank down heat the cover with a heat gun and start working it down into place. It took us a while to get the cover to fit right. I would heat the plastic then push it down to the metal with the end of the hammer then pour water on it to cool it down fast and keep the shape. It takes a long time compared to a regular tank but its not hard.

hell yeah looks good. how does it work, does it hold you in pretty good? and did you start from the inside by the cap and work your way out?
