Why motard... You can do it on an R1. Would be a good safety net at least cuz if you go too far just drop the clutch + gas it and you won't flip over

Is this just a mod or a production R1 came like that?

holy ****! now we know how Bill D does it
idle stoppies would be sweet (hit the Bp and idle it down the strip)

System only works when you are on the gas and the rear wheel is spinning fairly freely.

Re: 2 wheel drive motard endos

I dont think it can be done, because when you go up on t5he endo your going and going and then when you accelerate its going to push you down on your back wheel. It would be pretty hard to hit the gas while endoing and the front brake at the same time. Basically when you hit the gas your momentum pushes you back. It might be able to be done, but it would be extremely hard to get it right.

Re: 2 wheel drive motard endos

it would be incredibly difficult.... to accellerate you would have to be in the "looping a stoppie" positon on the bike, infront of balance point...... but those hyd motors they are mounting in the front wheel have a "spongness" that would make the trick nearly impossible...... we are not going to see it with the current tech out there.... I'm with niner...

Yamaha does have a system that drives the front wheel. Read up on the way it works.

Re: 2 wheel drive motard endos

This would only work if the rear wheel stops spinning otherwise the centripicle *spelling* force would pull the back down.

I'm agreeing with him on this one kids.....

think about it, the brake and gas would have the opposite effects as when you're on the rear wheel......

nope......in order to create any real forward acceleration the rear would come down before you could hit the brake and make it come up any higher.....it wouldn't work, unless like someone said you were past bp and starting to loop, and gave it gas back into bp......but it's not gonna work......

go in front of the BP like you were going to slip, and give a small amount of gas.

jeep has a two wheelie drive bicycle, if i had one i'd show endless stoppies to you...

you mean like slowing down in a coaster?

the farther back you are, the faster you can slow down.

i could stop QUICK on the hundo when going for scrapes.

Re: 2 wheel drive motard endos

the real trick to use it for would be to start a stoppie at like 30 mph, have it past BP at around 15, and then accelerate up to 45.

that would be awesome.
