99 F4 any good??

Thinking about selling my Gasser and buying a stuntbike. So far I have a couple of 99 F4's in sight, how are those compaired to the F4i's half you guys run?

f4i motor bolts in... its a f4i but carbed..

do you know how to synch or rebuild carbs? if so f4 is fine. if u don't want any issues with fuel f4i is the way to go. i hate carbs.

Actually those F4 are pretty much the only candidates for stunting i could find here in Norway. As for rebuilding of carbs I dont know what to do, but if it isnt too much trouble i guess i could, I have some experiense from my Gasser. What must be done?

just um average wear n tear, not allways need a rebuild but cleaning is a once a year thing and that means taking them apart.

Thats not a problem at all! Are there no other issues with carbs, how bout stalling? My carbed gasgas never stalled circling, the same for bigger bikes?

My bike is carbed, 97 900 and its a pain in the ***! First if the fkcn thing isnt full of gas, forget it, than it stalls at 12 all the time, than i cut the pipe short, and now it runs like ****...sellin it, goin back on a 929. find yourself an f4i, carbs ****!

i had a 99 f4 and loved it its what i learned everything on it was just like my f4i that i have now but just not quite as touchy but itd easy to catch idle on not to hard to circle combo's all day doesnt bogg on 12 to bad i say go for it and when ur ready or have the exra money u can buy a f4i head, injectors, cam sensor, and wiring harness and u got an f4i

Then you REALLY shouldn't be stunting! If you are going to do this on your parents dime you'll end up getting frustrated b/c of the broken parts with empty pockets to fix it with. Might want to think about getting a job to support this "addiction"!! B/c this sport is just that, not a hobby, not a cool thing to do, it becomes a god damn addiction and if you don't have the money to do it you just end up falling behind. Might want to reconsider... just my

^^ thats true... hes got a point...i tried doin that livin off my dad and my part time job.. its not worth it if u can't afford ur broken parts...first thing u gotta do is get urself a cage...that will save u lots of $$$...

Hell, I'll get one anyways, if I end up broke with a ratteling piece of junk, that'l just be a mistake to learn from.
