I bought a 2002 f4i and it had a 954 front end on it -what is the big deal of a 954 front end? sturdy? better for stoppies? As of now, I don't like it-It doesn't turn good, the clip ons hit the fairing, and one of the wiring harness plug is conveniately between the frame and fork which makes turning that much worse-Am I doing something wrong, or is this normal?Thanks

 

Take the upper off, problem solved. I love 1000rr, 92/54 fronts on F4i's.

 

My last bike was streetfightered and I wanted to go back to full fairing-When u guys streetfighter your f4is and leave the sides on, do u cut all the tabs off cause I don't ever see them in yalls pics

 

I don't cut mine because I tell myself one day I may want to put an upper back on it.

 

Route your cables around the forks, not through.

If your clip-ons are in the stock position they should not hit your upper.

In my opinion the 954 front end makes the F4i feel like a new bike.

 

put more tire pressure in the front...thats y its not turning so well

 

Its my old bike.... he should be doing HC circles on that thing by now.
