i just grabbed a 600rr cable and it is like 15ft long, ok not really but it is deffinatly longer than a 900rr or an f4i

I used a f3 one on my 954 and it was like 10'' also. Came out right next to tripple tree. Was perfect... It was 5'' longer than the 900rr one i had.. Its probably the same as the f4 one then..

i did that too. it makes it real easy to turn, but sometimes it backs itself out a little while im riding

Yep. We did that on Jay's and his is so easy to turn. This one just has to be long enough...the stock one on a 954 is so short!

Woo I already asked this question on SUSA, back then someone said 600RR is the longest and will work good on the 954!
...but I dunno if there is a difference between 03-04 and 05-06 models...
