f4i problems??????????

In the process of making a deal w/ riva motorsports to trade my 06'ZZR600 kawi for a mint 2002 red f4i . It's gonna be an even trade .My bike is an 06' with 740 miles vs the 02' f4i with 3900 miles .The f4i is really mint as it was traded in by a 52 year old airline pilot!! I'm taking a loss ,but I'm dyin for a honda and they are getting hard to come by. So I read this review on f4i's and it kinda freaked me!What problems should I expect ? I also read several other reviews saying major cam chain tensioner probs. here is the worst review http://www.epinions.com/content_180028477060

Re: f4i problems??????????

Dude seriously....that review is talking about the horn and bungee hooks !!
This is Stuntlife, a website dedicated to the sport of stunting a sportbike...

Who gives a ***** about bungees, horns, trip odometers and whether or not the key GLIDES smoothly into the ignition ??

If thats the kind of review you are using to guage whether or not the F4i is the stuntbike of choice, man you got some real learning to do...

Goto to the vid section on here, download the last 50 stunt clips and then ask yourself how many f4i's did you see...Thats where you'll find your answer..

Cheers

Re: f4i problems??????????

honda f4i is like the honda xr50, theres a reason ppl choose them over others....there bulletproof! and if u do break a part, most of the times its a easy fix u can do urself.

...this is comming from a kid thats beats the the **** outta everything i own and i have like 20xxx on my f4i. its fun!!:YEAH

Re: f4i problems??????????

I've already wrecked the living **** outta my F4i and it gets back up and starts everytime. Even if you aren't going to stunt, go get yourself a Freestyle Ingenuity cage, bolt it up and leave it on there. Cheap insurance!!! F4i's will go down, and keep getting back up!
