Fiddy?

I've heard a lot of guys saying they practice stunting on a fiddy. Whats a fiddy? Is that like a 50cc dirtbike? Whats some of the newer better ones? How much do they cost, new and used? Can you stunt them stock?
Thanks a lot.

Re: Fiddy?

50's aren't just for training... we do rides on em! For hours, killin streets, doging cops down trails, wheelies down side of highway, jumping in sk8-parks and bowls, filling up at gas-stations, drive-through fast food, you name it. Got a whole crazy route mapped out that we hit up every time and it takes you everywhere, just crazy... on the road for 5 min and on trails back and forth to keep a lower profile. I really have to take a camera to film one day

Re: Fiddy?

How much is that 108CC stroker kit to install? How many hours aprox? Can any honda shop do it, or does it need a machine shop?

Re: Fiddy?

$450 for 108CC
I can do it in 3hours or less.
You have to split cases for that.
A good shop will only change you 2 hours labor.

Re: Fiddy?

you can yank up a sitdown wheelie on a stock 50 in 3rd gear and wheelie it all day long. Its got an auto-clutch so you just bang it into gear. All you really need is a tall handlebar kit, rear axle pegs, a handbrake kit, and moped tires for the street. If you want to be more comfortable on such a small bike, you can get a taller seat, Extended fork tubes with stiffer springs, and an extended rear shock to match the extended front.

There are SO many options when it comes to performance, you can drain your bank account if you're not careful. I think its harder to stunt once you add power tho...however, i've only tried my friend's bike and i guess you just gotta get used to it.

The KLX 110 is a better choice if you want performance. It has more performance potential than a honda 50 and it'll cost you less money to get there. But for stunting, the honda 50 is the best.

maby a gold plated one. A new CRF50 will run you 1600 bucks here... you can get em used in BC for under a grand CDN for an XR model, which is the same thing, just different plastics. A CRF will be at a grand or a couple hundred more

Re: Fiddy?

50's arent just a little bike to practice on! They become a way of life and can easily turn into a big
money hobby ...Mine is worth just as much as my big stunt bike, and just as much fun if not more...Street rides, stunting lots, mini motarding on go-cart tracks, or just cruzin around my shop.... :YEAH

I'm thinking of a bigger bore just to get away from the county mounties a bit quicker. I gotta get on it this winter...
Any 88cc kit will get away from COPS but if you want to make them look stupid this is what you need, this is my friends bike I built for him. 50 STUNTed out! with a 124SE 16/30 gearing(Thanks Ryan new 30thooth is sweet!) this thing rips and tops out at over 100Km/h...80km/h coasters! and 100ft+ stoppies all day on this bad boy...
He bought it used for $1000 Canadian, its a 04 and it came stock except for it already being powder coated black...He also has an stunt only 50 with a
stock motor that is cometpletey 50 Stunt parted out...50 STUNT.COM:YEAH

Rolling over and down the bridge

If you dont have one get one its like a sicness, once you get one all your friends will want one. Next thing you know youve got a whole 50 crew...
