doesn't matter how old you are...if you are a dedicated rider you have to be in top form weather you are 18 or 40...only exception is FIB which every grandpa can do...lol

You can also have a business or something but if you can go ahead with what they pay you, then youre pro. i agree with him.
ps: theres a lot of excelent riders who arent pro.

I think sponsorship is a good indicator of moving toward pro status. I also suspect it'll be difficult to move past amateur-rated pay and venues until you guys put together a sanctioning body. But I am not sure how people go about doing that.
