Re: 600rr sprocket

I read that stock sprocket for the F4I fit the 06 600rr. You can pick them up at ebay for dirt cheap and won't have to change the chain. Bought both yesterday and can't wait for the install next week latest. Also (they said at 600rr.net) that the bike will come up on 1st 2nd 3rd and maybe fourth with just power. http://www.600rr.net/vb/showthread.p...hlight=gearing

check them out.

06 600RR - Our stock bike - 16/43 geared. No wheelies in any gear

What you want - 15/45 Stock F4i sprockets. - Wheelie machine with less top end.

Some people said go down one tooth in the front and keep rear stock. Will give you the wheelie capable machine and will not hurt your fuel consumption or top speed that much.

Re: 600rr sprocket

I think a stock f4i is 46 and 600rr is a 44 may be wrong though. Yes it does fit a 600rr i helped my buddy pull the stock one off a f4i and put it on his 06 600rr

Re: 600rr sprocket

Bigger sprockets take away sustained speed. They give more engine brake! When people roll the long christ they have a trick. They use their right pinky toe to adjust the throttle!ACROS ROCK!

Re: 600rr sprocket

I'm +3 rear only, still get it movin ont he highway and easy as hell to clutch up..I just stayed witht he 525 so you dont even need to change the chain, just swap the rear sprocket.. I got a parts unlimited one thats steel...like $25. Think my speedo is like 10mph higher than it really is now..
