Bike back firing!

When ive been wheeling lately.... ill be riding a wheelie ,, not always but sometimes... my bike will back fire?!?! does anyone know what this could be? thankz

which bike if its fuel injected you should be able to adjust the mixture some how on the carbs sounds like its running to rich Id try to lean it out not sure how to on either of those bikes...good luck

It back fires while in a wheelie? Or after you back out of the throttle and set her down?

I don't think it was mentioned... is it intake or exhaust backfire?? intake=timing exhaust usually is air/ fuel mixture. I would start by cleaning your jets. then go from there.

With the high revs. when you set it down the air supply gets cut and causes the bike to load up on fuel. My Honda 600rr does this when I am killin the back roads and dippin into a corner hot. I love this sound. I don't think you have anything to worry about. It happens especially on a carb. bike.

Another thing. When I am at the race track the Team Yamaha bikes R6 and R1 will pop like a yitch. Disalvo's bike sounds like the 4th of July. I love this sound.
