Re: bike with no title

A bike that someone stopped paying payments on doesn't come up stolen, does it? The cops would see that the registered owner is the company that financed it, but it wouldn't come up stolen, right?

Regardless, it wont come up as his, therefore if they take it, he cant get it back.

got any pics of the bike?? You should seriously either buy it and get CRTCH's Frame, or let one of us who know what to do!!

Not unless the owner reported it stolen... if your friend stopped paying on it then there goes his credit. It'll go through collections, and someone will want to find it. So basically you'll have a bike that some collection agency is looking for. And when you say "no title" is there really no title and it's been cancelled or does it have a valid VIN and all? B/c if that's the case, you'll have to pay the difference of what he owes and/or an penalties if you take over possession.

Re: bike with no title

it's the same as having a stolen bike, it's stolen from the finance company, it's not paid for, and they can't find it. It has a revoked vin, and if u get caught on it, it's being taken, probably along with yourself.
